Brian has been writing for theatre for over 20 years. His first professional production was 'The Butterfly of Killybegs', produced by Belfast’s Lyric Theatre. His best known play, 'Maire-A Woman of Derry', is the most successful play in the history of local theatre, and has played in Ireland, England, Canada and America to a combined audience of 40,000. Brian has also worked for BBC Northern Ireland doing feature film script development. He also runs occasional ‘writing for theatre’ master classes.
