Waterford city in the Summer of 1956 and on the beach at Duncannon.
Set during a day-trip to the seaside, The Gods are Angry, Miss Kerr focuses on the lives and dreams of seven Jute Factory workers in Waterford in the mid-50s and recalls the industrial decline of the city following the factory's closure.
