    An eccentric old lady dies, leaving her possessions equally divided between her Protestant Unionist cousin from Belfast and her Catholic Nationalist cousin from Kildare. In order for them to claim their inheritance they have to live together peacefully in a small cottage for one month.

    First produced at the Queen's Theatre. this play subsequently had a very long run at Belfast's Group Theatre. Opening on October 24, 1961, and featuring James Young, critics noted that the original seemed "slightly shorter", while the Belfast version featured a new character.
