Martin J McHugh
A play about three generations of the Droney family: Tom, his son Tom Tom, and his grandson Tommy Tom Tom. The Droneys wish to marry into the Lafferty family so that they can get their hands on the latter's family fortune. The shrewd Mrs. Lafferty, however, has other ideas. Tom and Tom Tom, grandfather and father, go to Mrs. Lafferty disguised as women so as to conceal their intentions. Tommy Tom Tom, however, rushes into the kitchen during their visit to tell them that he has discovered the Droney fortune while building a cowshed for Kate Lafferty.
