  • Synopsis

    The story of a family on the verge of crisis. The local textile factory has closed, and father and mother, Tony and Paula, and their two eldest children, Lauren and Johnny, have all been laid off. Paula is encouraging her children to spread their wings and fly the nest, while Tony attempts to bar all roads out. Their youngest son Spike, who dreams of becoming an astronomer, adds to the mayhem of the situation by announcing that an incoming asteroid is about to disrupt things even more...
