Eoghan Ó Tuairisc
Am: Lá Fhéile Míchíl, 29ú Meán Fómhair 1923.
It's 1923 and Ireland is racked by civil war. Emmet de Búrca, a young captain in the forces of the Free State, has received orders to capture a dangerous republican fugitive. When the fugitive turns up in the local convent the Reverend Mother, an elderly Frenchwoman with strong political beliefs, decides to enforce traditional church law and grant him sanctuary. De Búrca is under increasing pressure from High Command in Dublin, but Mère Michele refuses to budge ... a tragedy in three acts about the devestating effects of the Irish civil war.
