Synopsis
Margaret Henderson is an elementary school teacher in the Northern Ireland public school system, seeking to get her teaching diploma by working at Ballydim. As she struggles through her teaching practice, she encounters several major crises of confidence. These not only test her personally, but also point up searching questions for parents, the community and the education system itself.
