Set in the library of Castlerochfort, a Georgian mansion somewhere in the south-east of Ireland. The time is the present(1971).
Synopsis
Sir Dermod Rochfort, one time bon-viveur and associate of all the great literary figures of his youth is celebrating his 90th birthday at Castlerochfort, the decaying Gothic Georgian mansion which serves as the family home. Money is needed to save the mansion and can be raised only by selling Sir Dermod’s papers and letters to the highest American Academic bidder. Unfortunately for all the documents concerned have disappeared…
