Setting

Synopsis
The Diamond Body is a murder story and a case history. The protagonist is Stephanos, the hermaphroditic owner of the Easter Island Statues Club, a gay discotheque on a Greek island. The antagonist is the local population whose attitude toward the stranger in their midst moves inevitably from resentment through revulsion to open violence.
