  • History

    Based in Limerick, Island Theatre Company produced one to two performances per year at the Belltable Arts Centre and occasionally toured these productions nationwide. Island produced a mixture of new writing as well as plays from the existing repertoire. As part of its Studio Initiative, it encouraged young writers and directors to gain experience from working with a professional company.
