GRAHAM REID

1945 -

Born in Belfast, Reid graduated from Queen's University in the city and was a teacher before becoming a full-time writer. As well as stage plays, he has written for television, including the trilogy Too Late To Talk To Billy, A Matter Of Choice For Billy and A Coming To Terms For Billy, and the series, Ties of Blood. His television play Easter 2016, starring a young Kenneth Branagh, was broadcast by the BBC in 1982 as part of its Play for Tomorrow series. Reid has spent time working as writer-in-residence in both Queen's University and in Stranmillis College. He lives in Belfast.
