ULICK O'CONNOR

Ulick O'Connor was born in Dublin in 1928. He is a biographer, poet and playwright. His biographies include Oliver St. John Gogarty (1964) Brendan Behan (1970) and Celtic Dawn (1984). He is the author of two books of poetry Lifestyles (1973) and Spudnik and Other Poems. He was awarded the Irish-American Society's Annual Literary Award in 1985. Ulick O'Connor is a member of Aosdána.He lives in Dublin.
