PADRAIC FALLON

1905 - 1974

Padraic Fallon was born in Athenry in County Galway and was educated in Roscrea College. A regular contributer of poetry and prose to The Bell and Dublin Magazine, his verse plays, 'Diarmuid and Grainne'(1950) and 'The Vision of Mac Conglinne' (1953) were produced on Radio Éireann by Mícheál Ó hAodha. Padraic Fallon died in 1974. Much of his work has been published posthumously.
