SEAMUS DE BURCA

1912 - 2002

Born James Bourke, son of Patrick Bourke, actor-playwright and director of theatrical costumiers in Dublin, De Burca's plays include an adaptation of Kickham’s Knockagow, Thomas Davis, Limpid River, Mrs Howard’s Husband, and The Boys and Girls are Gone. He also wrote a novel, Limpid River (1962).
