KENNETH SARR

1895 - 1967

Kenneth Sarr was the pen-name of District Justice Kenneth Sheils Reddin, born in Dublin in 1895. He was educated at St. Enda's, Rathfarnham where he was greatly influenced by Thomas McDonagh and Patrick Pearse. Between 1924 and 1945 Principal Justice Reddin was the author of two novels, 'Somewhere To The Sea' (1936) and 'Another Shore' (1945) which was his best known novel and was filmed by Ealing Studios in 1947.
