SEÁN Ó TUAMA

1926 - 2006

A poet, playwright, writer, critic and former Professor of Irish Literature in University College Cork. He was involved with the Irish language movement and was chairperson of Bord na Gaeilge. He is perhaps best known for his 1981 work 'An Duanaire - Poems of the Dispossessed', in collaboration with Thomas Kinsella (Dolmen 1981).
