CONOR HANRATTY

Conor trained in Dublin and London, and then studied for two years in Japan. In 2011 he completed an MFA degree in Directing at the School of Theater, Film & Television at UCLA. In Los Angeles he worked on several productions, across various platforms, including new writing, (LAST AUTUMN) classical drama (THE PERSIANS), opera (DIALOGUES OF THE CARMELITES) and Shakespeare (MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING). He participated in the Glimmerglass Festival Young Artists Program in 2014. In Dublin he co-curated and produced TEXT|messages, a new platform for emerging directors. He directed the first ever OPERA BRIEFS at the Lir, and created a second performance in March 2014. He was a participant of Six in the Attic, a resource-sharing scheme at the Irish Theatre Institute, between 2012-2014 and in 2016.
