Zoe Ní Riordáin

Zoe Ní Riordáin is a theatre-maker and musician from Dublin. In New York in 2009, she co-founded alt-pop band Maud in Cahoots with long-term collaborator Maud Lee. Maud in Cahoots was subsequently developed into a theatre and music company called One Two One Two, housing all of their artistic projects. As a freelance director, Zoe has worked as an associate for Pan Pan Theatre Company and Project Arts Centre, Dublin. Work not listed on Playography includes: Everything I Do (2019, Best Performer, Dublin Fringe Festival); Recovery (2016, Romilly Walton Masters Award for Experimental Theatre); The Well Rested Terrorist (2014). The short film Dúirt Tú, made in collaboration with writer Shaun Dunne, premiered at Cork International Film Festival in November 2020 where it was awarded Best Director. Zoe is a trained theatre director and classical musician. She was a participant in Six in the Attic, an Irish Theatre Institute initiative, from 2017–2018.
